This 2 Day safari from Mombasa takes you to a savannah ecosystem of Tsavo West National Park comprising of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges and is home to all of 'Africa's Big Five' - Lion, elephant, buffalo, Leopard and Rhino among other wildlife. Accommodation will be in either budget/luxury safari lodge or tented safari camp.
Safari Itinerary
Day1: Mombasa – Tsavo East
Leave Mombasa very early in the morning for Tsavo West National Park, upon entry proceed for game drive en-route arriving at your pre-booked safari lodge or camp for check-in and for lunch. After a short rest drive to the dramatic Tsavo West National Park with game viewing en-route. You will visit the Rhino Sanctuary to chance spotting the rare black rhino among other wild animalsa and bird species. Dinner and overnight at your Tsavo West Safari Camp or Lodge.
Day 2: Tsavo West - Mombasa
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as we head to Mzima Springs where we will disembark from our Safari vehicle and enjoy a nature walk then view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish from an underground chamber. We will also see a variety of bird species. Leave Mzima Springs and With game viewing en-route exit the park and drive back to Mombasa where we will arrive in the afternoon.
